Nh Collection Venezia Murano Villa, Fondamenta Andrea Navagero, n.29, 30141 Venezia VE, Italy

The island of Murano is a gem of a destination in the Venetian Lagoon. Famed for its glass-blowing traditions, it’s home to beautiful displays at the Museo del Vetro, plus an iconic basilica and church - much to the delight of history-lovers. What’s more, it’s a short vaporetto ride from the heart of Venice.

Few cities rival Venice when it comes to architectural wonders, world-class museums, and a network of bridges, islands, and canals. Must-dos include visiting St. Mark’s Square for its scene- stealing Basilica di San Marco, Doge’s Palace and Torre dell’Orologio, taking a gondola ride along the city’s waterways (clichéd but fun), and admiring arty masterpieces at the legendary Accademia Gallery.
