The nearest airport is Erfurt Weimar Airport, which is approximately 23 minutes away by car. If you're arriving from Nuremberg International Airport, it's a two and a half hour journey by car, and from Frankfurt International Airport a three-hour drive. If you're arriving in Frankfurt, Deutsche Bahn Intercity-Express operates a train from Frankfurt to Erfurt Hbf hourly with an average journey time of around two and a half hours.
