TRATTLERS HOF-CHALETS are located in Bad Kleinkirchheim, in the southern Austrian region of Carinthia. You'll be just under an hour's drive from Klagenfurt Airport, and the hotel offers an airport shuttle service for an additional fee, when booked directly with the chalet.

Please note that the Tesla or vintage tractor test-drive experience must be reserved prior to arrival directly with the hotel and is subject to availability. 

Please also note that access to the private lido and beach on Lake Millstätter is from June to September.

In winter, you'll find something for all levels on the famous slopes of the Bad Kleinkirchheim resort - it's one of the largest ski areas in the whole of Carinthia! With more than 100 kilometres of piste, there's something for everyone; adrenaline junkies can try their luck on the World Cup downhill run Kärnten - Franz Klammer, whilst newbies have plenty of ski schools and blue slopes to find their ski legs on. Endless enjoyable attractions such as the fun line, snow park, kids slope, race track and snow tubing are available if skiing isn't your thing. When you're done with the slopes, be sure to dip your toe in the area's lively après-ski scene.

When the weather is a little warmer, one of the best ways to feel the awe-inspiring majesty of the mountains is by hiking and biking through the region. The Nockberge Mountains are a spectacular place to start, with guided hiking tours for all levels taking place frequently. The Alpe-Adria-Trail is a particular favourite among hikers, spanning everywhere from Austria's Carinthia to Slovenia and Italy's Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Elsewhere, golfing enthusiasts will find the Kaiserburg 18-hole championship course right on their doorstep, plus another six courses reachable within a 45-minute drive.
