Location and what's nearby

Pyrgos, Thira 847 00, Greek Islands

Luna Santorini Suites’ Pyrgos location puts it in a prime spot at the highest point of Santorini, right in the historic heart of the island. Here, among the former capital’s narrow streets, you’ll find plenty of sights, including a medieval castle and a 10th-century church.

For a slice of sunbathing to go with all that sightseeing, the island’s popular Perissa Beach sits two and a half kilometres away, while Red Beach, so-called due to the colour of the sand found here, is eight kilometres to the west. One thing you can’t miss while you’re here is a visit to Akrotiri, a wonderfully-preserved archaeological site where visitors can get a glimpse of life on the island in the 15th Century.
